Yorkshire's Oldest Established MSK Podiatry Practice

We are the oldest established podiatry practice specialising in musculoskeletal and sports podiatry in Yorkshire. With over 30 years of experience, we have built a reputation for delivering expert, evidence-based podiatric care to patients across the region.

What sets us apart is the depth and breadth of our clinical expertise. Our practitioners hold Masters degrees and postgraduate qualifications in MSK and sports podiatry — not simply a general podiatry degree. We are HCPC registered and proud members of the Royal College of Podiatry.

From routine chiropody to highly specialist biomechanical assessment, 3D gait analysis, ultrasound scanning, guided injections and shockwave therapy — we have invested in the equipment and expertise to offer the most comprehensive podiatry service in the area.

Our approach

We Treat the Cause, Not Just the Symptoms

Our clinical philosophy is straightforward: identify the root cause of the problem, explain it clearly to the patient, and build a treatment plan around resolving it — not just managing it.

We believe in using functional foot orthoses as part of a planned rehabilitation programme to assist in performance enhancement and allow faster recovery — not simply as an off-the-shelf support.

We will always offer the most appropriate treatment to resolve your symptoms as quickly and as effectively as we can. Where complex or surgical cases arise, we call on our network of trusted specialists to ensure you receive the best possible outcome.

1

Listen First

Every patient has a different story. A thorough case history is as important as any clinical test in reaching the right diagnosis.

2

Diagnose Accurately

Using the best available clinical assessment tools — including imaging and gait analysis where indicated — to confirm the diagnosis before prescribing treatment.

3

Treat the Cause

Targeting the underlying biomechanical, structural or training factors driving the problem — not simply treating the site of pain.

4

Prevent Recurrence

Equipping every patient with the knowledge, exercises and plan needed to maintain their results and reduce the risk of the problem returning.

I'd been struggling with heel pain for over a year. Within two appointments the diagnosis was clear and the treatment plan was underway. Absolutely outstanding care — I'm back running again.

The gait analysis completely changed how I understand my running. The practitioner took the time to explain everything and the custom orthoses have made a huge difference. I wish I'd come sooner.

My ingrown toenail had been a problem for years. The procedure at Wetherby was so straightforward — barely felt a thing and it's been completely resolved. Excellent professional team.
